Dunhill debuts in India

British luxury goods maker Alfred Dunhill, which specialises in men's leather goods, writing implements, timepieces, clothing and fragrances, has launched in New Delhi at the Shangri-La Hotel.

"We plan to launch four stores in the first two years in India and have eight stores in all major Indian cities within five years," said Mark Newman, Dunhill Asia Pacific managing director at the launch. Partnering Dunhill in India is Brandhouse Retail Ltd, which is the subsidiary of S Kumars Nationwide Ltd (SKNL).

Oh, and Indian filmmaker Karan Johar is the ambassador for the brand in India.
